Service model
PhotogenXX is a collaborative family archive. A User account is separate from Person records inside Archives, and a User may own one Archive, contribute to another, and view another.
Legal
Terms of Service
Archive roles
Owner, Contributor, Viewer, and Limited Viewer are product permissions for using the service. They do not by themselves decide legal ownership, copyright, inheritance, or authority over family content.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions belong to Archives. The payer may be a User, but storage limits, contributor limits, premium features, and add-ons apply to the Archive. Viewing should remain free.
Failed payments and preservation
If payment fails after any grace period, an Archive may become read-only. Existing authorized family content should remain accessible and should not be automatically deleted solely because payment failed.
Content responsibilities
Families should only upload content they have the right and permission to preserve and share.
Account and Archive deletion
Deleting a User account is different from deleting a shared Archive.
